Lots of news, but no time to write.

This old web site had been neglected, and was actually hacked. There is lots of renovation to be done to make it secure and working… and that will take a bit of time. Please be patient. Thanks for visiting.

I have just created the Gallery page to display my new headshots. It took a while to figure out how to use the plugin since I’ve never used one without guidance before, but I am very happy with the result.

New Headshots

I recently got new headshots done by Kevin Clark in Vancouver. It was a great, relaxing 3 hour-long shoot in the character-rich studio. The makeup and hair is done by his wife Trish.

My agent, Aaron Alexander, and I picked two photos and Robert Marks, their studio manager, did a wonderful job of getting the shots ready for development, sending them out to Rocket Repro, and getting them back in record time.

It was a very good experience!

Spring 2006 – Graduation!

I have just graduated from the Canadian College of Performing Arts! In the picture is myself with my sister and my mother. It has been a long involved year. I will miss all the talented people I got to work with and wish them all the luck in the world.

As soon as I was back on the island, I was pressed into service running the lighting board for many of the student productions at Tir na nOg.

Unfortunately, as a result, I have no time to see to this website. I do have a new headshot and a new resume though. As soon as I have time…

There is a group of us on Bowen who have been acting together for years with Tir na nOg. Most of us will be off to other activities during the winter school season, so this summer we decided to have one last production together. As I update the web site, we are only a few days away from presenting the wonderful comedy, Harvey, by Mary Chase, as a benefit for the TNN building fund. Please attend!

Canadian College of Performing Arts – Accepted into program – Summer 2005

All my coaching with Jack and Julie. I have been accepted into the Canadian College of Performing Arts in Victoria. Their program includes acting, singing and dancing. I am anticipating being completely engrossed in the program, so I do not expect to add to this site for a while

Voices In The Sound — original cast, Spring 2005

In early May, I came home from an audition in Vancouver to a phone message saying that there was a director by the name of Gil Yaron auditioning for a musical on Bowen Island. He asked if I could come over immediately. I was cast, and rehearsals started a few days later.

The show was envisioned and written by a wonderful woman, Pauline Le Bel. It was to be part of a three day festival celebrating the history of Bowen Island. We performed Voices in the Sound outside in a meadow about 1/2km from the nearest road. Hundreds of people walked into Crippen Park for this event.
