About Morgan
Morgan Ballantyne is a Vancouver based actor and producer. She is a graduate of the Canadian College of Performing Arts (CCPA), as well as the Film Arts Division of Studio 58.
Morgan’s performing life began with dance at the age of nine. She began taking ballet, jazz, modern and other dance classes at the Anna Wyman School of Dance Arts before turning to the professional training program at the Goh Ballet Academy. During the last few years of high school, in an effort to round out her performing skills, she began taking singing lessons and attended Tir na nOg Theatre School (TNN) on Bowen Island where she played numerous leading roles. She subsequently volunteered at TNN, taking on jobs from stage managing to classroom assistant and office responsibilities while auditioning for Theatre schools. Shortly afterwards, she was accepted into the Canadian College of Performng Arts (CCPA).
After completing her schooling at CCPA, Morgan was accepted in the Film Arts Division of Studio 58. While there, she enjoyed enormous success and produced a short film entitled “Into Night” in which she played the principle role of Sabine as well playing lead roles in six other short films.
